The Whiteboard Method has earned our designation of being a super tool—the fastest known healing tool that can remove multiple sins in one shot without having to identify them. It works when the person can spiritually see; if they cannot, then use a cognitive method instead.

Whiteboard Overview

The Whiteboard as a healing method is composed of a Whiteboard acting as a multi-purpose diagnostic, healing, and unblocker tool.

It works as a visual analogy of the gospel. The person asks Jesus to put all their sins, and all the sins committed against them on a whiteboard and wash it clean with His blood (Healing). If the person cannot see the whiteboard, putting that blockage on a separate whiteboard and cleansing it with Jesus’ blood sometimes works (Unblocker). Often, if a person’s spiritual sight is blocked for a whiteboard, then all visual tools, including the whiteboard do not work, so you’ll have to first use an Unblocking Your Spiritual Senses strategy to access a whiteboard.

Similarly, if something remains on a person’s whiteboard after being washed by Jesus’ blood (Diagnostic), whiteboarding that remaining item sometimes works (Healing). Usually though, the person has to use another healing tool, usually the Intercessory and Personal Prayers to clear the sins represented by that last item.

In this way, a whiteboard isolates the sins that the person needs to repent of specifically and wipes the rest of them away as an act of grace. This privacy protection feature is especially useful for restoring a marriage where one spouse has been unfaithful. Recounting the sins in detail is hurtful to the other spouse, but if God forgives the sins without going through the details, then neither do the marriage partners have to go through the details. However, if God points out an area of sin that needs to be repented of and forgiven between them, then have the marriage couple do that and put the issue behind them.

We have seen Jesus use paper and notebooks for cultures that do not know what a whiteboard is, and replace a whiteboard with a blackboard when the remaining marks were white and could not be seen against a whiteboard. So, it’s not the form of the visual analogy that matters, but the gospel that makes the whiteboard work.

Getting a Whiteboard

Getting a whiteboard is as simple as praying for one, “God, please show <Person> a whiteboard.” Then ask the person, “What do you see?” If the person sees a whiteboard and does not doubt that it’s from God, then you can proceed to the next step.

People who are blocked from spiritually seeing or doubt that what they see is from God can try to imagine a whiteboard and then check with God if it is usable, “God, can <Person> use this whiteboard?” If the person sees nothing, or the whiteboard is partially or completely blocked, then whiteboarding that blockage can occasionally remove it, but usually you have to use the Unblocking Your Spiritual Senses strategy to restore the person’s spiritual sight. If the blockages to getting a whiteboard are significant (and they often, are as the whiteboard is a super tool), you will have to heal many stories using other methods before you can get a whiteboard.

Getting Sins onto the Whiteboard

The next step is to ask God to put all the sins committed by and against the person on the whiteboard, “God, please put everything on the whiteboard.” Then ask the person, “Do you see anything on the whiteboard?” The person should see marks on their whiteboard representing sins, curses, unholy attachments, and / or programming related to the issue being whiteboarded.

If the person does not see any marks put on the whiteboard or their spiritual sight is otherwise blocked, then whiteboarding that blockage sometimes removes it, but usually another unblocker tool has to be used, or even a full Unblocking Your Spiritual Senses strategy. This is relatively rare, as most blockages happen at the whiteboard acquisition step rather than getting marks onto the whiteboard.

Clearing the Whiteboard

You clear the whiteboard of sins by appealing to the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, “God, please wash the whiteboard clean with your blood.”

Then ask the person, “Is the whiteboard clean?” About half the time, the whiteboard is cleaned and it is not necessary to repent of the sins individually. You can then move on to the next story or issue to be healed. For the other half of the time, the person will have to identify and repent of the sins in detail. Each mark, shape, or smudge left on the whiteboard represents a sin to be dealt with or an emotional pain to extract out of the person’s heart. In this way, the whiteboard excels as a diagnostic tool to verify that the person is completely free of an issue.

Occasionally, whiteboarding a mark on a separate whiteboard is enough to clear it. More often, the person has to ask God what that mark represents, and then use another healing tool, usually the Intercessory and Personal Prayers, to clear it. Repeat this process for every mark on the whiteboard until it is completely clear.

Accelerated Whiteboard

Once the person has gone through a few whiteboards and is able to see well, you can accelerate the whiteboard process by combining the whiteboard and sin acquisition steps with the cleaning step in a single prayer, “God, please put everything on a whiteboard and wash it clean.”

Then ask the person, “Is there anything left on your whiteboard?” The rest of the whiteboard steps are the same. If all goes well, the person will see a whiteboard appear, sins put on it, and then washed away. If the person is blocked, then you will have to go through the full whiteboard process and determine whether the blockage is at the whiteboard acquisition, sin acquisition, sin cleansing, or remaining mark viewing steps. Apply an unblocker tool to that step to finish the whiteboard. The accelerated whiteboard combines multiple steps for speed, but ends up reverting to a regular whiteboard if the person cannot see well.
